I am still coming down off my excitement from photographing and editing photos from my first wedding this past May. I was not expecting to do another anytime soon. BUT Kristen wrote me wanting me to capture her intimate wedding in October, so of course I said yes!
Kristen and Brad were not initially going to get engagement photos done, but then decided to take some time for themselves to come out to the farm. Brad, since he was from out west, was right in his element when he saw all of the horses and the old western town! We had so much fun just walking along “the boardwalk”.
We then ventured down to the log cabin on the lake. This is one of the many cottages my parents rent out in the summer, and it is also one that my dad built when he was 16 with his father! It reminds me so much of Goldilocks.
I don’t think I have laughed as much on a shoot as I did this one! Kristen and Brad’s love and enthusiasm for each other was so prevalent. I couldn’t help but laugh along with them, their humour was contagious. I can’t wait to capture their special day in October. Mainly because I get to spend the day hanging out with these two again! 🙂
