Okay—where has the time gone?! These two are getting married in 4 days and I haven’t even shared their blog yet!! Well, here it is finally!
Let’s just say, this engagement session was SWEET!
I was thrilled when I was asked to photograph Tammy and James for their big day. I met James and his family MANY years ago, grade 8 to be exact! Kally, his older sister, and I were in the same grade in high school and have remained in touch over the years (and a HUGE shout out to her for trusting me with her baby bro’s wedding! Love you!) I will never forget when Nancy, James’s mom, made us cheesecake for movie night. It was the first time I have ever had chocolate cheesecake in my life and I have remembered it ever since…seriously it was that good. Okay, I am digressing (BUT Nancy, I will totally come over for some more if you ever want to get rid of some haha!!)
Fast forward 15 years, and here we are! Westport and Foley Mountain are such beautiful places to photograph at. Before we headed up to the mountain, we had to beat the heat with some tasty ice-cream! When I suggested grabbing a cone, and after ordering two black cherry ice-cream cones, Tammy began to tell me that James actually proposed to her with a ring hidden in an empty black cherry ice cream container because it was her FAVOURITE kind!!! So adorable, and it was definitely meant to be. James, you totally know the way to a woman’s heart! 🙂
Okay enough blabbering from me. Tammy and James, I will be seeing you both again, so very soon, to celebrate your big day!
Enjoy the pictures!! xoxox
