Rideau Acres Wedding, Kingston ONT {Shawna & Matt}

What do you get when you have a beautiful couple, a horse and carriage to chauffeur you around, and all of your closest friends and family together for a day? That’s right! Shawna and Matt’s wedding day!

If you have not read the blog on their engagement, I suggest you do. Shawna reached out to me because she was looking for someone that was comfortable with horses for their engagement session. As my logo itself is a horse head (and my company being based off of my horse Warrior) it was a no brainer we were a perfect fit. The engagement session was easy and fun and when it came time to the big day, I felt as if I were hanging out with an old friend.

Shawna and Matt held their ceremony and reception at Rideau Acres in Kingston. Shawna rode in looking like Cinderella on a beautiful carriage pulled by two gorgeous horses from Whites Rides, which is located on Wolfe Island. Matt could not hold himself together when she was walking down the isle, and rightly so! Shawna looked stunning. This is one of my favourite moments at any wedding-the husband/bride seeing his husband/bride for the first time. Every reaction is so different yet full of so much love.
