1890 Farm Wedding, Napanee ON {Jen & James}

Hello everyone! It has been a hot minute since I have been able to put a blog up! Between teaching, life and oh yes, having TWINS, it has not been on the top of my list. BUT with that being said, now that my life has a bit more of a routine and the 2021 wedding season is over, I wanted to share all of the amazing celebrations of love that we were able to document.

So let’s get on with it!

Where do I start with this wedding?! From the location (their very own Christmas tree farm!) right down to the decorations, every single detail was absolutely PEFECT! I have worked with both Jen and James in the teacher world, and I was so excited to work with them again, but this time with them behind my camera (although I wouldn’t exactly call it work!)

There were so many little beautiful moments throughout the day For one, Jen is a massive horse lover. She has a beautiful trusty companion named Pepper that was being boarded at a neighbouring farm. She knew that having it trailered over for the big day was going to be too tricky and time consuming to do, but I could tell how much she wanted to have photos of her and her best pal. However, little did she know, James had it all arranged and the barn trucked Pepper over for the day! Her reaction as James appeared around the corner with her horse was priceless Scroll down to see the reaction- sooo cute! After this surprise, it was an evening filled with horse riding, shotguns, dirt bikes, dancing, oyster tasting, drinking and a beautiful couple frolicking in their hayfield with their fur family!

Ben and I are honoured to be a part of every single wedding we do. It is even more sweet when you get to spend the day with friends you haven’t seen in a long time and enjoy the celebration alongside them. This is what this wedding felt like. We were able to be a huge part of the day but also feel like guests and enjoy the party at the same time!

I know this blog is longgggg overdue, but congratulations again Jen and James!
